Scope and Contents
This small collection consists primarily of manufacturing operations in 1951 and one image of Speakman Company delivery trucks, dating around 1920. The manufacturing operations shown include the Pattern Shop, the Brass Foundry, Foundry - melting, the Machine Department, Polishing, Buffing - hand, and Finished Assembly. These were apparently taken for use in an unknown publication about the company.
The photographs are reproductions and were loaned for copy. The donor retained the originals. The originals were mounted on board with protective flaps and captions. Copies of the captions are with the copy 8x10 prints.
