The flight altitude was approximately 25,000 feet and the resulting vertical photographs had a scale of approximately 1 inch to 3,100 feet.

Historical Note
These vertical aerial photographs were taken on April 15, 1940. Harry Tubis (1906-2004) planned and participated in the aerial survey mission which used a Lockheed Vega model airplane. According to Tubis, this plane was especially super-charged and equipped for high-altitude photography.
The flight altitude was approximately 25,000 feet and the resulting vertical photographs had a scale of approximately 1 inch to 3,100 feet.
