Biographical / Historical
Pam Cumming (1956-) attended the University of Colorado Boulder and recieed a degree in Business and Spanish. Following college she worked for Life Imaging, did consulting work and eventually was hired by Hologic. Cumming worked for Hologic from 2001 to 2014.
Scope and Contents
In this interview, Pam Cumming talks about her career in marketing within the medical imaging field. Cumming explains how her educational and career choices led her to work for Hologic starting in 2001. At Hologic, Cumming worked in the Marketing and Communications department and helped share the company's messaging surrounding their new technology, including tomosynthesis. Cumming details how she used marketing to convince medical professionals and patients alike that digital mammography and other new technologies were effective and safe.
