Francis Gibbons "Frank" Tatnall (1896–1981) was an American engineer and entrepreneur, known as the "father of the strain gage." Tatnall worked for Baldwin-Southwark Corporation, Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton Corporation, Tatnall Measuring Systems Company, and Vishay Intertechnology, Inc.
