Chestnut Run Laboratories, Technical Services Laboratory films, 1964-1979
This series contains films related to plastics and polymers. All films were labeled as belonging to the Technical Services Laboratory within the Chestnut Run plant and films come from the following Departments: Plastics, Polychemicals, Polymer Products, and Plastic Products and Resins. Some films are of studies or tests of various processes, other films are productions intended for informational or educational purposes. Topics covered are pipe tracing, Teflon processes, blow molding, screw extruders, contour bag machine, extrusion coating, extrusion studies, injection molding, blow molding, runnerless molding, splicing cables, burying cables, plastics, and polymers. There is one film which outlines employee’s pension and retirement benefits and one film specifically about workplace safety. There are shot lists or scripts available for some of the films. In some cases, there is a script for a film that is not in the collection.
Chestnut Run photograph albums
The DuPont Company's Chestnut Run Laboratories were opened in 1954 near Wilmington, Delaware. The first laboratory was the Textile Research Laboratory whose purpose was to test the effects of normal wear and tear on DuPont's line of synthetic fibers and fabrics. This collection consists of eight albums of photographs showing laboratories, fabrication equipment, testing equipment dating to the mid-1950s, and personnel photographs from the late-1980s.

DuPont Company Textile Fabrics Department videotapes, photographs, slides and promotions
The Textile Fibers Department of the DuPont Company, established in 1936 as the Rayon Department, specialized in researching and developing synthetic fibers for fabrics such as Rayon, Nylon, Teflon, Corian, and Kevlar. This collection primarily contains video tapes (VHS and U-Matic). Most of the content on the VHS videotapes are different than that on the U-Matic videotapes, there are a few duplicate videos that are in both formats. The videotapes content are employee training videos related to management, customer service and safety, as well as, informational videos about product and services, company history and events. Additionally the collection contains photographs, slides, advertising and promotional materials.

DuPont's Chestnut Run Laboratories was opened in 1954 near Wilmington, Delaware. This collection consists of two albums documenting the history of the Chestnut Run facility between 1954 and 1961. One album contains primarily photographs taken of the facilities exteriors between 1955 and 1958. The second album contains mostly newspaper clippings between 1954 and 1961.

DuPont Company's Chestnut Run Laboratories first laboratory was the Textile Research Laboratory whose purpose was to test the effects of normal wear and tear on DuPont's line of synthetic fibers and fabrics, it opened in 1954 near Wilmington, Delaware. The Chestnut Run Technical Library is a branch of the DuPont Technical Libraries, which began in 1958. This collection consists of files related to the work of the scientists at the laboratory; their speeches, research articles, and some periodicals and scrapbooks related to textile design. There are also materials related to human resources polices and procedures; documents from a program about the future growth of the company; and a library subject file.

Lavoisier Library is the library at the DuPont Company's Experimental Station, a large industrial research facility focused on innovative advancements in chemistry located in Wilmington, Delaware. The records in this collection consists of files assembled to document various aspects of the company's history, its policies and products, and the writings and speeches of executives and researchers.
